These terms apply to your use of https://stylemaniacs.com and to any order you place with Style Maniacs. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Style Maniacs is a retail business located at Orchard Point, Shop No. 218, Dhanmondi, Dhaka 1209, Bangladesh. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
2. Products and descriptions
We sell imported and locally sourced skincare, haircare, body care, personal care and dietary supplement products.
We describe every product as accurately as we can, including brand, country of origin and net quantity. Product images are for illustration only. Manufacturers may change packaging, batch labelling or formulation without prior notice, so the product you receive may look slightly different from the image.
3. Important information about skincare and supplements
Our products are cosmetic and personal care items, not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
- Results vary from person to person, and depend on skin type, consistency of use and individual health
- We recommend a patch test before first use
- If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under medical treatment, or have a known allergy or skin condition, consult a physician before use
- Before and after images, reviews and experiences shown on our site or social media are individual, and are not a guarantee that you will get the same result
- Always read the label and follow the usage directions
4. Pricing and corrections
All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Delivery charge is added at checkout.
We may correct pricing or description errors at any time. Where an order has been placed at a clearly incorrect price, we may cancel it. In that case we will inform you, and refund any amount already paid.
5. Orders, confirmation and cancellation
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The sale is finalised only when we contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp and you confirm the order.
We may decline or cancel an order in the following cases:
- We could not reach you by phone after two attempts
- The delivery address is incomplete, or outside our service area
- The product is out of stock
- The same order was submitted more than once by mistake
- We have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or abusive ordering, including a pattern of placing cash on delivery orders and then refusing them at delivery
You may cancel free of charge at any time before the parcel is handed over to the courier. After handover, cancellation is not possible in the system. You may still refuse the parcel at delivery, but the courier charge described in our Refund & Return Policy will apply.
6. Payment
Our primary payment method is cash on delivery. Where enabled, we also accept mobile financial services and card payment.
Where an advance payment is taken, it is handled in line with the Ministry of Commerce's Digital Commerce Operation Guidelines 2021. For any product that cannot be handed over to the courier within 48 hours, we do not take more than 10 percent as advance.

8. Returns and refunds
Returns, replacements and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, product photography, graphics, logos, and the Style Maniacs name and marks, is owned by or licensed to us.
You are welcome to share links to our site freely. However, our content may not be copied, republished, sold, rented or redistributed without written permission.
10. Reviews and content you submit
If you send us a review, photo, video, comment or message, you confirm that it is your own, that it is truthful, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in our marketing, including on our website, social media and advertising. We may remove content that is misleading, offensive or unlawful.
11. Third party services
Our site relies on certain third party services, including Shopify for hosting and checkout, Pathao Courier and Bahok for delivery, payment providers, and analytics and advertising tools. How they handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our maximum liability for any claim relating to a product or an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the laws of Bangladesh, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009.
13. Force majeure
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disaster, strike, political unrest, transport disruption or government restriction.
Where such an event makes delivery of a paid order impossible, we will inform you within 48 hours and refund the full amount within 72 hours.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
If there is a problem, please contact our support team first and we will try to resolve it directly. Unresolved disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published on the site at the time you placed your order is the version that applies to that order.
