Style Maniacs operates the online store at https://stylemaniacs.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

By placing an order or using the website, you agree to this policy.

1. What information we collect

When you place an order
Name, phone number, delivery address, email address (if provided), the contents of your order, your order history, and any note you add to the order.

When you contact us
Your phone number or email address, the content of your message, and any photos or videos you send us for a return or complaint.

What we do not collect
We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, or mobile wallet PINs. Payments are processed directly by our payment providers on their own secure systems.

2. Why we use this information

  • To confirm, pack, ship and deliver your order
  • To contact you about your order by phone, SMS or WhatsApp
  • To process returns, replacements, refunds and complaints
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent, duplicate or abusive ordering
  • To improve our website, product range and customer service
  • To send you offers and news about new products, unless you ask us to stop
  • To meet our accounting, tax and record keeping obligations under Bangladeshi law

3. Who we share it with

  • Shopify Inc. hosts our store and processes checkout, so they receive your order and account information
  • Our delivery partners receive your name, address, phone number and order value, in order to deliver your parcel and collect cash on delivery. These are Pathao Courier, Bahok, and our own in-house delivery team. Where our own team makes the delivery, your details stay entirely within Style Maniacs and are not passed to any third party
  • SMS and WhatsApp providers receive your phone number and order status, in order to send you updates
  • Meta and Google receive cookie and event data, which helps us understand which advertising leads to orders
  • Payment providers receive transaction data, in order to process your payment
  • Government authorities receive information only where we are required to provide it by law or by a lawful request

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

4. Cookies and tracking

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies:

  • For essential functions, such as keeping products in your cart and maintaining your session
  • For analytics, to understand how visitors use the site
  • For advertising measurement, through the Meta Pixel and Google tools, to understand which advertising leads to orders

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block essential cookies, parts of the site including checkout may stop working.

5. How long we keep your information

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, warranty and dispute resolution purposes.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete
  • Delete your information, where we are not legally required to keep it
  • Stop using your information for marketing

7. Security

Our checkout runs on Shopify's PCI DSS compliant system, and our site uses SSL encryption. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take all reasonable measures.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
